This book is humorous and very well written and contains invaluable nuggets of truths from God's Word that encourage black parents to take charge, and to exercise their God-given leadership roles within their families. Barnes speaks with authority on this subject of child-raising having successfully raised three sons. For the black parent who does not know where to begin or how to begin, this book will show you from God's word along with some good common sense how to successfully raise your young black man.
